One year after Republicans swept most of Indiana’s major state and local elections, Democrats are seeking retribution in this fall’s mayoral races – and the outcome could be a signal of the political landscape for 2012.
The Republican presidential hopefuls have raised more than $400,000 from Hoosiers so far in the 2012 election cycle, while President Barack Obama – the Democrat incumbent – has raised just under $300,000 from Indiana residents.
