INDIANAPOLIS – The 2011 Indiana Rural Summit – scheduled for Dec. 1-2 in Terre Haute – will focus on entrepreneurism and agriculture-related development.
The two-day event, presented by the Indiana Rural Roundtable, will take place at Indiana State University and bring together rural leaders and citizens to “develop creative ways of strengthening and advancing the state’s rural communities,” organizers say.
The conference will include sessions about turning a hobby into a job, making decisions about crops based on national and international markets, public policy issues affecting agriculture, and making the connections necessary to grow agribusiness.
