Artists wanted for Bicentennial Plaza project
INDIANANPOLIS – Calling all Hoosier artists!
The Indiana Department of Administration (IDOA) and Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) are looking for two of the state’s most talented artists to help create works of art for the planned Bicentennial Plaza.
The two artists or two teams of artists will create two, site-specific works to pay tribute to Indiana’s culture and history.
The artists will work with the IDOA, the IAC, a landscape architecture firm and others for finalizing the engineering specifics, exact location and final design details.
Interested applicants can find more information at http://www.in.gov/arts/2865.htm.
Materials for application will only be accepted through www.callforentry.org.
The deadline to apply is Monday, July 13. Artists must be 18 or older and preference will be given to artists who have a relationship with the state such as being a resident, working or attending school in Indiana, etc. These details should be noted in your letter of intent.
